Stockholm posters & art prints

The city on the water - Stockholm Stockholm, the capital of Sweden since the 17th century, presents an exceptional urban structure spread over 14 islands. With 975,551 inhabitants in the metropolitan region, the city constitutes the country's demographic and cultural center, where historical buildings meet contemporary architecture in a distinct Scandinavian context. The city's geographical conditions, with Lake Mälaren to the west and Salt Lake to the east, have shaped a unique cityscape where waterways and bridges are fundamental elements of the urban structure. This geographical heritage creates exceptional conditions for visual documentation and artistic interpretation. Stockholm's architectural development includes medieval structures in the Old Town, National Romantic buildings from the turn of the 20th century, and modernist landmarks from the post-war period. This architectural diversity offers extensive opportunities for artistic representation. The Nordic light, especially prominent during the long days of summer and the dramatic twilight of winter, creates characteristic conditions for photographic documentation. The changing seasons continuously offer new perspectives on the city's visual identity. Our poster collection documents this multifaceted capital city through various artistic expressions. Each work is carefully selected to represent the distinctive character of Stockholm, where historical environments contrast with modern neighborhoods and where water is constantly present as a connecting element. This collection is aimed at people who appreciate Scandinavian architecture and urban culture. Each poster represents a unique perspective on Sweden's capital, adapted for modern interior aesthetics while maintaining its historical roots.
